The third quarter of 2024 saw interesting trends for the top travel and local apps on the Android platform in Estonia. Here's a closer look at the performance of the top five apps, with data insights provided by Sensor Tower.

Circle K experienced a downward trend in downloads throughout the quarter. Starting with over 1K downloads in early July, numbers gradually declined to just over 200 by the end of September.

In contrast, CityBee shared mobility maintained a relatively stable download trend, fluctuating between 400 to 800 downloads per week. The peak was noted mid-July with nearly 800 downloads, before settling around the 400 mark towards the end of September.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel showed a consistent decline in weekly downloads. Beginning the quarter with around 800 downloads, the app saw a decrease to approximately 400 downloads by the end of September.

Similarly, Airbnb experienced a gradual decline. Starting with nearly 400 downloads in the first week of July, the numbers diminished steadily, reaching about 145 downloads in the final week of September.

Lastly, Tallink Silja Line had a modest download activity, starting with around 260 downloads and ending the quarter with approximately 135 downloads. The app saw a slight peak in late July with 350 downloads.
